Anyway...
This was our moon on Monday night. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It looked huge. It seemed lower in the sky than usual and was very pretty to look at. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at taking night photos.
This one turned out darker than I hoped it would. I love watching moonlight reflect off of water.
I hope you can see the clouds. Michael took this one.

What time is sunset there tonight? It's 10:30 this minute and still not completely dark. I LOVE THIS!!! Except that I don't go to bed until LATE LATE LATE!
Jayleigh, the sun sets around 10:00, I guess. But it doesn't get completely dark until around Midnight. Then starts getting light again around 2AM. By 4AM it's pretty bright. My problem is not staying up...it's sleeping in. I can't sleep when the sun shines so brightly. We have almost 18 hours (maybe closer to 17 and a half) of light this time of year. Well, up until yesterday. Now it's going to start getting shorter.

I think it'd be incredibly hard to get enough sleep in the summer with the sun rising so early!

I've lived here all my life so it doesn't seem like such a big deal to me anymore. I'm just glad I'm far enough south that I don't have to deal with not having any light during the winter.
Hey great minds think alike.... I wanted to post about the full moon today because it was on all the news over here that it looked so huge but was infact an optical illusion... however I didn't post about because I couldn't find any pictures on google.... How wow is that !!
That's so funny - I took pics of the full moon the other day, too!! I didn't post mine because it just totally didn't look as awe inspiring as the real thing. I saw the full moon up in the sky before the sun was completely down - it was really awesome with pinky purple clouds and stuff.
